    Post by lonesniper24 Sat Nov 15, 2008 5:30 am

Okay I thought I would help and give you some links to some sniper rifles that are good for beginners

First off the AGM MP001 (VSR 10 clone)

    http://airsplat.com/Items/AR-AGM-VSR-001B.htm

this is a good gun for a good price I think it will be best to start out with this if you are low on money

    the AGM L96

    http://airsplat.com/Items/AR-AGM-AWP-002.htm

and finally the JG bar 10 this is a good rifle for $100

L-96 , is my choice , sniper rifles are usually expensive if you want a good one , but certain airsoft sniper rifles like the UTG L-96 , or the JG Bar 10 are great guns for the money .

It is acurate but the fps of the TM VSR-10 is around 275 and the bars is around 425 both stock. The hopup on the TM is great that is the only reason it can shoot as far.

These guns ( listed below ) are the most recommended among sniper rifles :

The gun ( s ) below are good gun ( s ) but be careful immations are tempting but are nothing but junk . If it is not on here and it sounds off brand and it is below 50 bucks then don't buy it try to buy above 100 bucks but fifty is deffinatly the limit .

This gun is a UTG model and a pretty gun gun if you are getting rid of your first gun this is a replacement that you might want to consider .

    http://www.hobbytron.com/AirsoftSniperRifleGunSpringLPSOFTM324S.html

The gun below is a great gun to start out with I personally reccommend it for first time snipers .

    http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2761

Ths is my gun I love it but it is a little bit heavy and a lot of people don't like them but most people who have had theirs for a while love them , not for a first gun unless you want a challnge and it takes some thing getting use to but I think that you will like it because I absolutly love mine .

    http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AR-UTG-AWP-368B.htm

Haven't had a lot of experience with this gun but personally I don't care for it that much , but then again haven't have much experience with this gun at all , but don't get me wrong it is a great gun and if I had it I would use it all of the time but it is AEG and just not what I would reccommend but people who have them love them I guess to each his own . Again not a gun to start out with but If you have been airsoft warring a while then this is the gun for you , again unless you want a challenge .

    http://www.hobbytron.com/ElectricTokyoMaruiSniperRifleTMGP3SG1.html

This is a gun that I would reccomend to any one just starting out or a vetran of the sport an all around good , light , accurate , durable , and just an all around good airsoft gun scope included and bipod and scope rings and a scope covering and even a built in bipod mount . This airsoft gun is a must have for any one looking for a new airsoft gun to buy . Again Once gain I would eccommend this gun to any one looking to buy a new airsoft replica sniper rifle .

    http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/model.pl?model_id=1005

This gun is not all that well known but should be it can be improved and tinkered with and upgraded to be anything you want it to be this is a great first time airsoft sniper gun and it is highly recommended and as a matter of fact some vetran snipers still use this gun today and some even trade in L-96 and TMGP3SG1 rifles for them .

Well thats about all I can do about the gun situation but if you see a gun you want then click on contact us and fire away with any question that you may have .

I personally like Tokyo Marui VSR-10 G-Spec. It is a good base gun if you want to add upgrades, and the silencer actually works because it has foam inserts inside the silencer. The G-spec come with a scope mount and a silencer. The barrel on the G-Spec is shorter than the rest of the series though.Could anyone tell me the barrel length of the barrel of the G-spec not including the silencer?

Heres the link to the G-Spec
    http://www.trinityairsoft.com/p-83-tokyo-marui-vsr-g-spec-sniper-spring-airsoft-gun.aspx

Heres a link to a cooler one but its super expensive!

The base gun is a Tokyo Marui VSR-10 G-Spec.
